Persian Metalware?

Does anyone know what this is and is it Persian? Approx. Age and if it has value? Is it some type of censor or
Food container? I enjoy the object shape quite a bit. Many thanks for any info.

Yes dimensions are important. It has only nominal value due to many places where enamel has broken off, and the fact that it appears to be inexpensive-to-begin-with 20th. C. Souvenir/tourist item. But I’m no expert, wait for other replies.

It looks better than tourist to me. Champleve enamel.

 

Wonder why she won’t tell us the size? It could be worn as a ring or bracelet but without knowing the size I can’t tell which.

There you go! I couldn’t figure out why the loop thingy on top was c-shaped in cross-section and you hit the answer on the head. It is contoured for one’s chin!

any comments on the six sided nuts attaching the handle......??

 

Dome-topped, look like they were special-ordered for this decorative use. One was filed down because the screw it held was shorter than the others and maker didn’t want a “hole” there, I guess. Brass hex nuts.

Patina on the whole object looks genuine, if I had to guess age I’d say mid-20th C. sometime.
