No problem. I just wanted to clarify the intent of my original post, in case it was being misinterpreted.

 

I don't think it was, we just did the forum thing of going off in a different direction.

 

I have less of a problem with fur, than I do with 1.7 billion cell phones , 800 million laptops, 643 million tablets....ect.......ending up in our....or YOUR....landfills......

 

Off topic continuing lol but so agree. We keep everything until it no longer functions. Just got a new car at 215,000 miles after stupidly putting in a new transmission for $4000 and then having the rear differential blow. I have a new iPhone 11 and dh took my old 6 since his 4 died and he didn’t care. Never replaced our old PC when it died and we use iPads. We only replace stuff when it can no longer be fixed. Off to the tailor now! The planet is being poisoned by planned Obsolescence and we try our best not to contribute.

It was probably time then to save Canadian air but I totally relate to saying farewell to great long loved cars.
