New here, my second post... and mostly new to vintage/antiques. If this post is not in the correct place or such, please just point me in the right direction. Any information on these buddhas and asian figures would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome, Shannon. You can handle them so have more clues. What do you think they are made of? They look like resin to me. We have people who can tell you more about representations of the Buddha. Allow time for others to see your post, we're all over the globe.

the girl laying down...may be bone....or resin.....ivory is possible but we'd need to see a close up for that determination..
the two on stands look like resin molds , from here..........

    imo...1980's or newer.....

First and third one have the usual resin pinholes. Not sure about the reclining figure.

    Thank you for the information!

I think the asian figure is for sure resin and I am guessing the resting figure is as well. I'm not sure about Buddha, he seems different... color and texture.

They can do a lot with resin, mix it to make it look like stone, bronze etc. Check out his fingers, resin air bubble holes.
    As Komokwa said!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Are any of these a representation of the Buddha? This is a serious question, because I'm still learning. Maybe @Any Jewelry or others will tell the group.

    No, none of them are.
The only one with a religious meaning is the reclining figure, which is Guanyin. That is also the best quality one, but still resin, I can see blobs by her feet.
Good quality resin figures like the Guanyin can have value.

The first is in the style of a Japanese netsuke, although you do not give a size and there are no holes on the back as there would be on a real netsuke.
The second is a representation of Chinese Guanyin, as Any Jewelry has said.
And the third is a Chinese Empress, as Hollyblue said.
I agree that all appear to be made of resin (plastic). The originals would typically be made of ivory.

Thanks, I wouldn't have thought it was that one. He looks like a Japanese craftsman to me, he seems to be making something and has that big block of wood for a worktable.
