The description puts me off, but 18 year-old rum .... well, at least she's legal.

I'd use the rum in Christmas baking - rehydrating raisins, soaking fruitcake (if I did fruitcake), rum balls.... use the runoff from the raisins to make rum raisin milkshakes?

Oh thanks kyratango, I had seen other pieces with that same design but had no idea the cherubs we're a later addition, they seem to fit so we'll!

Here is a pic of the back, sadly the red mark is too worn to give any details

Was at an estate auction on Saturday that had a LOT of neat stuff. The deceased lived until she was 102 years old and her ancestors were pioneers to the area in the early 1800's. There was a large crowd and prices were very high overall. I mostly got outbid but scored a few small items and some postcards. Below is one of the items I purchased.

    Brown Shoe Company Knife

    The first 2 are keepers.
I went to a sale late so I was quite excited to see this hanging lamp still there:) when I paid for it the lady said she lost the bet, someone actually bought it, lol.
I picked up this clock on a local auction site, the fellow listed it as 1960s. I'm not sure why as The National Clock and Mfg Co. label is on the back. Needs to be cleaned and then will be back on my wall.
also picked up a Norcrest birds on a nest planter, (these always sell fast) and a Buddha money bank that I'm hoping I will have a key that will fit.
