Antique key identification?

    Hello,
    I am looking for any info about this key I have. It seems solid brass, as a magnet does not stick and is 7" in length. Thank you!

    It looks like a jailers key, a cell key.

    I used similar when I used to lock up bad people many years ago.:cool:

    Hi,
    I have a set of "Jailers Keys" made years ago as a decoration. Your key looks like one of those. Mine range from 7" down to 4".

    I have a pair of cuffs up in the attic, they were busted by an immensely strong man back in 1977, it took 5 of us and a dog to restrain him, he even tried to choke the K9 with his fist down its throat.
