Vintage Sterling necklace signed Paula

Anybody know which Paula this necklace was made by ?

Looks like someone made this for Paula to wear as an endearment.

 

I don't see anything about it be called "vintage".

 

the clasp looks vintage.....it's no lobster clasp......eh ? No ?

 

It's a "fish hook"clasp,more sold today than the 30's etc. most made in China with the same exterior designs as earlier models.

ok....I get that.......but still....it has a vintage LOOK.......as where a lobster clasp...does not..

 

Lobster clasp have been around since the late 50's,the OP's necklace is much newer.

 

Well the dark patina cannot happen in a weeks time.

 

It may be some sort of artisan piece. Probably is, in fact - 1990s or later from the look of it.

 

With the right patina solution it can be done in less than 10 minutes.
