All I can off is that it is Silver Deposit and not Silver Overlay.
Just noticed the design in the glass rather hard to see because of the silver deposit.

Maybe someone else will recognize it. Looks to be one of the better companies. Cambridge, New Martinsville just throwing out names, don't really know.

    Thanks @TallCakes
Here are some more photos where maybe the pattern can be better seen. It's quite thick and heavy. dish8.jpg dish9.jpg dish11.jpg dish12.jpg

Nice decoration possibly something like Silver City work. Unfortunately these tired old eyes can not make out the pattern of the glass blank.

Try Tiffin Canterbury / Duncan Miller. Tiffin got the molds from Duncan Miller. The shape looks right to me. Canterbury would be the pattern. Don’t know who did the overlay

the details look like Paden City's 'Nerva' to me; a manipulated version of this piece:

I don't think it is Canterbury - bottom is wrong, plus it has that funny little squiggle handle thing.

Well, thanks everyone. One last question, what should I do with it? Is it of any worth or should I set it out with garage sale items?

Nice digging but that site does not give any support for the Cambridge attribution. The Paden City looks better to me. There is a new name to look for the decoration.
The pricing looked extremely optimistic to me especially in todays market.

that Cambridge piece does have the same silver pattern as your Paden City piece. It was common practice at the time for decorating companies to purchase glass from various makers.
