Greetings! I’ve heard of Wedgwood for some time, but I’d never familiarized myself too much. I scooped this piece without knowing what it was, solely because I liked it. I’m realizing the all black basalt (without the white dip) seems to be more difficult to come by. I’ve done some research on dating, but I’m not 100% sure on this one. The backside has the Wedgwood mark, plus a single “o” at the point of the heart, not a series of letters/numbers, which I know showed up around 1860 in 3’s. I’ve not found another like it, aside from one in a group from the mid 1900s that made up the “bridge” collection of heart, diamond, club and spade. I guess just trying to figure out if this form was created solo before the bridge shapes collection/the date of creation/worth etc.
Thank you so much for any help!

Can you get a better view of the mark? I can't make out the font, and that's significant.

The letters are not extremely crisp, but they are there! I hope this helps. C968612E-4118-432F-AACF-1FC21DF4FEF1.jpeg 26B2FF7A-056F-447B-A5B8-AF0EDED1D6E9.jpeg

Thanks. That's the font after 1759 and with no three letter code, it's before 1860. Still a bit of a range.

    Okay, gotcha. Thank you!
Any ideas if it’s more valuable due to the all black vs. dipped with white?

It’s more valuable than one marked ENGLAND but not a very valuable piece. I would stick my neck out at under £25

I suspect you're not far off.
