Hi everyone! I'm excited to be on this group and learn. I got these in Charleston about 8 years ago for my bedside rings, but never used em. Been cleaning out my house and wondering if you can help identify these? Snuff containers, pill holder, vicks jars? Im excited to see what u think and what you're all looking at too. Thank you in advance!!!

Hello, Melissa! You should take pictures of the jars open and whatever the bottoms look like underneath. What would you say the blue and green parts are made of? Glass? Plastic?

Just figured out how to see the message. They appear to be enamel. Inside is metal. Stainless steel perhaps

They were made in India, and were probably new when you bought them.
Those silvertone repoussé metal appliqués and rough stones in round settings are typical of Indian souvenir and export ware.
They are 'trinket jars', to be used whichever way you like. Keeping rings in them overnight sounds perfect.:)

Beat me to it, aj. I've had a few of those, with labels and can buy them locally.

Hi, they're about 4"tall and are hinged. They're at my office or I'd post more pix. Thanks.
