    Funny, that what you thought to be rubbish, now consumes your every waking moment, trying to find just the right stones to grace it's exterior..!

    Life's funny that way !! :happy::happy:

    I always check out both Etsy and ebay for replacement stones.
    After some bad experiences with Israeli and US sellers (natural coral and turquoise turned out to be dyed junk), I now buy from Jaipur sellers, who I find the most reliable when it comes to description and quality. They will give the correct size, and say if the stone is natural, treated, lab, etc. The prices are very competitive and shipping is cheap or free.
    I ordered some garnet and turquoise cabs from Jaipur yesterday, and received a shipping notice after only 10 minutes.:jawdrop:
    Jaipur, Rajasthan is the gem capital of India. They are proud of their age old heritage and work to maintain a good standard.

    Oh thank you for that info, I did wonder if it was wise to order from there, I have been looking at Garnets coming from India and the price is so good.

    I can imagine, unknown territory. I have good experiences with sellers from 'unknown' territory like Jaipur and the Middle East (except for Israel).
    With my love for antique and vintage jewellery, I get many items with stones missing, so I regularly buy gems from Jaipur. I hope your experience will be just as good.

    I got my Garnets from India today...
    Thank you Any Jewelery for your help with that :)

    So I decided to keep the Chrysoprase stones and alternate them with Garnets and I think it looks really pretty.
    I'm very happy with the results :) IMG_1314.jpg
