here are a couple of things I picked up this weekend - a piano player roll of Christmas tunes, for whenever I find a player piano that works and I can afford, a primitive cookie mold - has some damage on one end/corner, but I think this is an old one and a antique leather mill bucket.

That sounds like a good excuse for a road trip on trash day! If people are tossing sterling I'm all for trash picking.

I don't give monetary appraisals, but do sometimes advise people on the strong & weak points of a cameo they want to sell to help them set a price & for 2 years or more have had to tell some of them that a silver setting, even if sterling rather than Italian 800 silver, adds very little market value, that you can barely give silver away. Cameos, even ones of barely mediocre quality, are fetching good money if set in enough gold, while some very good ones can't get much more than $100 because they are in silver. Throwing it in the trash is a bit extreme.

That is a nice mold cxgirl. Wonder if it would work for little chocolates.
    But cookies, sounds right.

Love the antique molds, CX. Really pretty!

Anund, only you would find GORHAM STERLING in the trash! Fantastic.

No gorgeous cookie molds or dumpster sterling on my end, but did find a few goodies.

This week found 6 Tiffany & Co rock crystal beer mugs, Edith Heath Sea and Sand pottery, Canadian artist Tela Purcell watercolor.

I like the watercolor. I wouldn't have much use personally for the beer mugs, although they'd be good for seltzer water, but they're pretty.

Today I got this at Savers. Old Wallingford M22, bon-bon dish. About 5 inch diameter. F5233109-16D7-4592-A84F-AB5B9B8B421F.jpeg

    Weighted and a bit dented.

OTOH it'll melt just fine. It's possibly the best use for 1950s mass produced wedding silver anyway.
