    Talking of contraceptives.
2nd to last house clearance, they kept everything, receipts, tickets, love letters.
Found these in their honeymoon itinerary to London 1966.
I hope they took more and these were just back-up :D
    expire 1968 cost 3/9

In the 1970's not many women would have carried condoms in their purse unless they were worked professionally. ;):rolleyes::p:D:D:D

Very ... interesting. That's the word. Interesting. I'm not sure how one would display those.

I made my annual trip to a local antique store today, to raid the owner's own cabinet. This isn't all of it. The cameo in the black is mine; the other I just got today. It alas has a crack that I didn't see until I got it home. The B made me do a double-take. That's a hat pin, but that B is Brooklyn Dodgers. There are some Pacific Coast earrings, a Larimar pendant, a multi-metal birdie, a new Israeli pendant, an ID medal I need to ID, and a sterling windsor chair. I could "hear" Greg saying "grab that", not that I needed the encouragement. $100 and change later.... DSCF8653.JPG DSCF8647.JPG DSCF8656.JPG

And my serendipitous St Patrick's day find...pair of Irish glass candlesticks for $5.
For some reason "guaranteed irish" makes me laugh.

I figured as much.(LOL) It ought to be easier to move than a wood chair of similar vintage, if harder to sit on.

The Kerry sticks are good. That's Michael Harris: same bloke who did Mdina and Isle of Wight glass.
