    =) here I am once again....needing help to decipher signatures.... been looking for a few weeks for these, but no luck.

    see what I mean... there ought to be a law or penmanship class for potters. =D

    Not just for potters, most artists have totally illegible signatures.

    As an artist - you have to sign "stupidly" crazy sigs just in case you get famous then very easy for others to duplicate your signature!

    The other extreme is annoying as well. When there's a piece or painting with a big and prominent, clearly written signature... Something like "Painted for Debbie and Jack by aunt Tureen L. January 1983 Oklahoma"

    But in a very old piece that could be interesting to some, perhaps.

    I do check them regularly, so far haven't found one ID there! I will go back and look again for these.
