The second, or first depending on who's looking, mark is Chinese for silver, but what's the other one? Someone literally handed me a bracelet on Saturday as a gift, and it has this mark in it. DSCF8413.JPG DSCF8415.JPG

    Agree, a very nice gift.
The mark is 紋銀 or 'wen yin', which is mainly used for 925-935 silver fineness, so the bracelet is sterling or slightly higher.
It looks like the mark is stamped, not cast. Cast marks indicate fakes, which abound in Chinese jewellery.

A pity they blackened the mark, I'm starting to doubt it now. Maybe the mark doesn't look stamped once the black stuff is removed.
@Hollyblue your eagle eyes please, stamped or cast?

With the black in the marks it's hard to tell, but the inside edges of the mark looks rounded and could be cast into the bracelet.
