Featured Buffet... how old / what area is this from?

    Yes, I've Polish friends who can understand Russian very well. The impenetrable languages are Finnish, Hungarian and Basque of course. I stare blankly at those, but it pleases me immensely that the Finnish for cat is kissa.

    You ever read the Kate Mosse books? I could understand the Cathar stuff she quoted because it was so Catalan.

    No, I haven't. I think the only fictional Cathar book I ever read was Montaillou. Other than that a lot of historic and theological stuff on the Cathars, they fascinate me.

    Oh, you need to read Sepulchre and Labyrinth, you'd love them. Novels, but with massive research and background.

    I wanted to come back say thank you for the great information about my piece. We are loving our new sideboard and now we have more information about it to tell our friends and family.
