Help identifying this vintage machine

Do you have the link of the thread that it is a lens cutting machine? From the photo there is nothing on the machine to "cut" a lens.

Your last photo is an AMERICAN OPTICAL COMPANY LENS CUTTING MACHINE MODEL NO.M541-D which is a lens edger that cuts the lens to the shape needed for the eyeglass frame,you can see the cam/pattern for the lens. The OP's machine looks a little different as it may just use a glass cutting "wheel" to score the lens and then hand chip to basic shape before hand grinding to shape.

It probably has little value,it has been obsolete for at least 50+ years and only an optical machinery collector might be interested.

 

I’m taking a wild guess that a basically useless machine might get $50-$75. At an antiques mall or outdoor market here in the US. If you are outside the US I’m not sure how you would sell it since the cost of shipping would be high.
