Wedgwood has no second e. ;)

I think that's a coffee can not a shaving mug. German or Austrian 19th C.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Johnny, I can also see "Made in England" impressed on the bottom along with "Wedgwood" and a number. According to this site, which I've used a lot, the earliest date that "Made in England" was used was in 1898, and it was common after 1908.

I have been so busy at work it's not funny. Takes time away from my hobbies. Anyway, this is the one of the recent finds at the last antique show I attended (the one where I was accused of stealing that $5 bracelet.) The universe rewarded me with these 9 stickpins that I spent $100 on:

    Stick Pins.jpg
I need new testing acids, so I don't know what metals these are except for the pearl & diamond flower bud, bottom centerish. It is marked 14k. All the white stones in all are diamonds; the diamonds in the opal and turquoise stickpins appear to be rose cut. The lion's eyes test as garnet. All pearls are genuine. The amythest stone appears to be glass, faceted from underneath, cabachon on top. The lion is my favorite. Many of the stick pins have that twisty part on the pin. I did go back the next day and got more, mostly costume, but some were good finds, need to photograph. Somebody thought it would be a good idea to clean the lot with TOOTHPASTE- I have been gently working on getting it all off.

And below are the garnet earrings I purchased from the fine jewelry dealer. He had them converted to 9k pierced posts, they may be brass, sterling vermeil, no marks, maybe even 9k gold. The sunlight here is terrible, not getting my usual good pictures, sorry.

@johnnycb09, can you see what it reads on that 'mug around the front in Gold?? It doesn't look like English.......Can you post another image of it with more showing or is more to the left worn off???? Thanks!!! (I'm referring to the first image you're showing of the mug)

Nope, can rather than cup, because it's straight sided. Too small for a mug.

As to the Wedgwood, the impressed number is a pattern or shape number, the red is probably the decorator's piecework mark. Those hunting ones were made right up till at least the sixties, but I think yours is 1920s.

    Nice Bohemian garnets, marko. Gablonz/Jablonec.

From the thrift today - Persian Gulf Command brass tankard - believe made from a shell casing. Looks to have been silver plated at some point- still is in a few spots.
