@johnnycb09 - those style trays are usually referred to as sandwich trays. The design reminds me of a Pennsylvania Dutch design.

Johnnycb09, I really like the "pretty little pitcher, 6 inches tall" in your last two photos.;)

I don't know why either - but I get it - boy do I get it.

I've never found anything really good in a Savers, but I don't get into one that often. They're a for-profit, and I have a feeling the good stuff never makes it out onto the floor unless it's by mistake.

An almost find? Almost bought this tonight for the pure funkiness of it... but took a pass on it.

Why in the world did she put one of her hair curlers in a bun?

Those are "sausage curls" all over her head, aren't they?

Sorry, Aquitaine... Savers (including Value Village, one of the "Savers brands") is a FOR PROFIT organization.

They "pay" certain non-profits for merchandise - that's the "charity" part of it, believe it or not - and then mark up the previously donated items & sell them for profit.

"Donations to charity" - i.e. the cost of buying merchandise - ranges from less than 5% to a high of something like 17% of total revenue. They go out of their way to hint that they're not-for-profit, but indeed they are.

The Ill Will is a nonprofit but acts like a for-profit. They closed down the Salvation Army stores locally, so I can't even check those. Their merch had gone downhill too over the years, but even so - you can't buy what you can't get at. My best find this weekend was quilt fabric in my church's clothes closet. That's free. I redonated most of that to friends who make things to give away. That was a win-win, since nice fabrics can set you back $10/yard with no problem.

My find, if you can call it that, of this weekend is a nasty cold.

There is a seller on etsy who has what may be the same pinched bottle as you show but in a different color.
I remember her asking for advice on who made it.
If you read her listing, you can see what advice she was given. I have no idea if it is right or wrong but when I saw your find, it reminded me of her inquiry.

    Just for reference, not mine
