Featured Small silver pendant NWC type design marked, by who? SOLVED - NANCY DAWSON - thanks Komo!

Picked this up years ago but forgot I had it till I went through a storage box today.

1 inch long, curved like the bowl of a spoon, engraved with what I think is a bird? Initialed on the back.

@komokwa - any chance of id'ing the maker?

It is a fairly general style, so hard to say which specific group. There is a new book on NW Coast Native jewelry with copies of many artist's signatures which might be helpful; but my copy is not handy at the moment.

New in the sense that I had not seen it before: "Understanding Northwest Coast Indigenous Jewelry," by Alexander Dawkins, U of W Press 2019. I got my wife a copy for Christmas.

Don't know - it is now buried in a pile of Christmas books; I only got as far as noting the reproduced signatures, which seemed very useful.
