In the spirit of efeciency I am listing two pottery items for your help.

First one by R Browlee, this piece worth much? I found very little on this Artist. Born c 1915. Struggling with the value. It's signed R. Browlee 69.
The second one I need clues. The bottom has the proverbial scratch cover. Ideas on how to get it off? Don't want to ruin it.

    Thank you for your help. :0) IMG_20180204_203921-460x640.jpg IMG_20180204_203928-460x640.jpg IMG_20180204_204019-460x640.jpg IMG_20180204_153255-640x460.jpg IMG_20180204_153238-640x460.jpg IMG_20180204_153246-640x460.jpg IMG_20180204_153428-640x460.jpg IMG_20180204_153144-640x460.jpg IMG_20180204_153456-640x460.jpg

The first one looks like a class project. The only R. Brownlee I could find was an R. Brownlee Reed, totally different sig.

    Hi
Komo? Is that the artist or style? The glaze is quite nice. It doesn't look like a class project. Should I soak it and take off the bottom protective cover?

You must not be seeing the distortion in some of your photos that Komo and I are. ;)

I see it and it is strange because I used the same compression app for both. Anyway, it is taller but not by much. Hope you can get around that and maybe provide some input....

   )

The form of the second piece is a lot like an ancient oil lamp:

Hmm. Would you please point out where the resemblance is. They are so different. Mine is not as flat.

I'm sorry , but I can't see it well enough to make a proper suggestion.

Can't see it either, but I think the distortion is playing with everyone's head. We're all tripping, I guess. I'm off to check in the mirror how many eyes I have.:hilarious:

You can try a google image search if you have an undistorted side view against a totally plain background. You would not try to sell it with these pictures, I hope.
