Syracuse oval scalloped edge restaurant ware plate with LH logo.

Does anyone recognize this logo on this plate?

The plate is 11 3/4" by 9 1/4" across.

Can't guarantee it but from this chart I think your mark, 4-11, is dated to April 1954. It may help for a possible place. My first thought of course is something Hotel or House. Anywhere starting with an "L" near where it was found?

@say_it_slowly - Thank you so much for checking it out & for the information on the date of this piece.

It was found at a Goodwill in Columbia, SC but as we all know things travel & do not always originate where they are found.

I did try to do a Google search of hotels & restaurants when I first got the plate but had no luck.

I did look through the list & I also had no luck finding this design.

It may end up being one of those things I list on eBay hoping someone will recognize & want to buy. Luckily I have very little invested in the piece.

 

I still have my Syracuse mini creamers with a W on them that I tried numerous times to figure out including more than once, here. Sigh. I am doing some clearing out of things I thought I would list and probably never will and was weighing getting rid of them just the other day. So much better with an ID

That is definitely the pattern.

@say_it_slowly - I always pick up pieces like this if they are inexpensive because you just never know if you will hit on one that is very collectible.
