    I could see that being 1920s. Its what they call slag glass.Its in the shape of a lyre,so it might have started out in a music room or the like.It looks in great shape.

    Oh wow, the 20s! My bosses wife bought this for $200 years ago and wanted me to sell it for $85. What are your thoughts on this...how much do you think I could sell it for and where? Thank you for your response!!!

    The socket hardware says '20s or '30s. Can't see the rest well enough to comment on whether it's all original or a marriage. Look carefully inside the bottom edge of the shade for a name. Names sell.

    I am not finding any names anywhere on it...I know he wants to sell this but I want him to get the most he can for it..any ideas how much this could sell for or if it holds alot of value? I've considered buying it myself as it is beautiful and I've never seen anything like this before.

    Nice lamp. Value is really dependent on market. Could see this at $100.00 + in our retail market (semi-rural Midwest) but might have to, ultimately, settle for less. Consequently, the $85.00 price does not seem to bad. On the other hand, in a big city, you could be selling yourself bit short.

    It really depends on your location. I know here in north florida you might get $150-200 ,but in say Albany ny you might get $50.id split the difference and give him a $100 for it and gladly take it home and use it. :)

    Thank you for your help!!! I was hoping it could sell for more considering how old it is but im greatful for all the help you guys have given me! It's nice to know the history of things..wish I could find out more about it but I can't find any writing on it.

    Values are down. There was a time this was easily a $300.00 lamp at retail in a good market.
