Something vaguely familiar to me. All thoughts appreciated.

Pop it out of the frame and take a clear pic of the signature. You wont devalue it or anything.

 

Thanks, I know that would be the thing to do but I also know that I’ll never get it back together again correctly so I’m hoping someone may be able to decipher something from the picture before I open it.

 

Any better? I’d rather not take it further apart just yet.

I’m now seeing Ma (MAX?) as th first name. Almost lik what looks like the first leg of the K is a smudge and it’s actually an M. Anyone see that? Why do I always find illegible art?
