These rings aren't unique; I have seen two others this old, one with a European cut citrine and one with a mine cut diamond. I saw another one, can't say how old, with a black star. They have updated this original setting and I sold a sterling one with a linde start a few years ago. I would say the older ones are uncommon.

Well, it's not a physical find but I found me 6 hrs of overtime today, so far, @ $40 hr.

 

I found a penny on my bedroom floor this AM...

I'd say, 'Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have a bad back'.

But that may be just an old man thing.

Finding a penny on the floor is better than spending a penny on the floor.

 

I have a handful of Canadian pennies........I thought I read somewhere that Canada was going to bring back the penny?????

I'm hoping so too. There's an appraiser who does free evaluations on Fridays and she's HIGHLY acclaimed. I just need time off to take this painting to her and see what she says.

 

I found small bags to put Christmas gifts on sale today at the Acme. I found that my husband would rather eat a bag of Chex mix tonight than the pork chops I was going to make. I cannot find the Wawa gift card I bought for $15 yesterday. That's what happens when you turn into a bona fide antique yourself.

 

doesn't Chex Mix have 3 of the 4 food groups >>??? LOL.....

This subject was spotted snaking his way through the southern parts of the US, totting the evidence around as a hood ornament!!

 

He hangs it on the car when his wife is driving. All the townsfolk know the score and stop to watch or hurriedly turn down side roads.

I once was cleaning my bedroom and under a pile of junk, I found a envelope for a withdrawal from a bank. I usually throw them away when I find one. This one I decide to see if any change might had been left inside. I'm glad I checked, there was $300 inside of it.

 

My 6 hrs of overtime turned into 8 hrs. Out of that, only 30 minutes was physical work. Man I love my job!
