Vintage graduation round cap and thing

    I seen some hats by this company but only square one's, also this thing which I don't know what it's called, never seen one like this, I wonder what it was made for, anybody know ?

    I think it's a tam and hood. Tams are for higher degrees.

    Part of someone's formal academic robes but don't know how to interpret. 'Stole' may be the right term for the thing that's not a cap.

    Agree, what SIS said. If you didn't already have a set, you could get one. Going from this, school colors are red & white, degree conferred was some non-specific PhD.

    It would also be worn by a professor in a graduation procession. That's about the only use for them after graduation, unless it's used for Halloween. Most profs have their own robes too, if they have to march.
