    Thank you, 2manybooks, this looks promising, and something I hadn't encountered before. Somehow I find it exciting when that happens. And that's what's so good about this forum...so many members who know how to do the research, and find the answers!

    Can there really be too many books? I'm thinking probably not...

    Thanks. I enjoy the challenge (although 2manycats thinks I am a wee bit obsessive). And it certainly beats twiddling my thumbs while the pandemic rages.

    The Mgola-Kela statues and masks look very alien like to me and I love them

    The owner of the board has some other great boards too with different tribal art in them

    Are those figures from Arnhem Land, Australian Northern Territory?

    Cross hatching is typical of Australian Aboriginal painting, originally in ochres but now commonly in acrylics. Having said that, I haven’t see pieces quite like these before.
