Help identify painting

Hi freinds, new acquisition today, I have problem to identify kind of painting and the artist.

The artist's signature doesn't look like English to me. More like some Asian script. Since the "license plate" is in English, Maybe from some country where English and an Asian language are both used? India? Bangladesh? Sri Lanka?

 

I don't see a signature.

 

I straightened and lightened the image, and it "kind of" looks to me like a signature down near the wheel at the bottom of the image.....but IF that's a signature, it doesn't look to be English......YOU have the picture in hand....you might be able to tell better.....good luck!!!

Yes I bought it from north Morocco.

 

It looks like a very primitive painting of a donkey wagon from most anywhere in the Southern European/Mediterranean area. It may not be a famous artist.
