IMG_3450.JPG IMG_3451.JPG IMG_3452.JPG IMG_3453.JPG I can't get the blue glass out and I don't won't to force it. Do you think it's supposed to come out or not?

It may be possible that the glass doesn't go with it? And that it was just wedged in there because it looked 'cute'?

I've seen a number of Jewish silver goblets in my time. I've never seen one that came with a glass liner. It might be possible to remove it, but you'd have to be very careful.

    I'll try, if I can't
remove it, I'll let it stay there.

I've never seen a Jewish goblet with what appears to be a representation of the Last Supper on it. Israeli, yes; Jewish, no. Someone's souvenir of a visit to the Holy Land.

    My bad, indeed not Jewish.

You beat me to it. Elijah's cup that isn't. It's probably silver-plated; I've seen tons of similar items that were marked 925, but it was only the coating that was silver.

It's electroformed, very common technique in Israel...

    Agree.
With so many visitors a year, Israel has a thriving souvenir industry. Besides, there are still many Israeli Christians (and Muslims), Palestinian, Armenian, etc.

I have similar Jewish-themed items here made the same way. One was for a Bar Mitzvah and the other is from the Wailing Wall. They're both marked 925 and I seriously doubt either is solid sterling.
