I got a letter from MOS today.....
inside was a Happy New Year post card ....
Good thing the letter was addressed to me !!!!...Cuz the post card wasn't !!!

Now I have a small piece of history in my hand.....& it's better than the photo's..
There's 100 year old glitter...& raised designs...& a cool stamp !!!

The Minton calendar arrived today. Makes me feel I'm living in luxurious surroundings just to look at the pictures. Thank you so much MOS, for the calendar, the secure packaging (looks like they tried to bend it & failed) & the postage. Too big for the toe of my stocking, but a Santa gift none the less.

 

Got my postcard. As I said elsewhere, the fact that the creepy kid image blew right past my mother makes it just that much better.

Normally I would think that a delay in mail from Canada to the U.S. is to be expected. This one is a bit curious, though. I get scans from the USPS every day in my email (Informed Delivery). The scans show what you will receive every day. The scan for this envelope showed a label attached over the bottom of the mailing address. It said "Unable to forward." I don't know which country put the label on, but it looked official. I was going to look more carefully when it arrived. But somebody, probably in my local post office, had removed it before it got here. The envelope was addressed correctly, and I have no idea why they wanted to forward it. Sounds like it was accidentally sent to the wrong place at first?

Anyway, I love the postcard.

 

That does sound odd, but I'm glad that it has arrived and is giving enjoyment.

I'm glad to see others have received their cards - it was a great group to choose from. Mine is still out there in the postal service I guess. Mail has been arriving here rather erratically since before Christmas, even first class or lower class junk mail. I hope it will be here next week!

First of January & my new old calendar is all ready to go, taking over from a Tiffany glass one. Thank you so much. I feel singularly postally blessed that it arrived so quickly. I too am finding mail just trickling in.
