    Hi - can anyone help identify what this is? Not the best photo sorry. It’s from Perry and Co London. This photo is from the top looking down.

    Hi Wendy - in order to help I think we'll need more pictures. I'm not sure what type of an item I'm looking at. A bank? Measurements would also help as would a close up picture of the mark. The more information that have, the better the chances that we can help.

    Thanks Don - I knew it maybe been a long shot and I didn’t think (at the time) about grabbing more pictures. But definitely will do in the future.

    Oh my goodness - thank you, you are right it is a waterwell. It’s exactly the same as the picture in this link. Thank you very much. If you happen to have any idea of what it is worth (if anything) please let me know.
    Do you happen to know what a waterwell is used for?

    Something from my library days seems to be telling me that it was a means to keep library paste & its brush from drying out... (???)
