I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right category!

I have these chandeliers in a house I inherited, and I'm trying to figure out their age and whether it makes sense to try to sell them online or just donate them. Does anyone have any idea if they're worth anything?

Thanks for any input anyone might have!

Look like mid-century pieces to my eye.

Shipping those would cost a small fortune, Al. To make matters worse, the time it would take to pack them to survive getting kicked around by the shipper would quickly outweigh the value.

If you don't mind selling locally, you can try OfferUp, or some other platform like that. Aside from that, Habitat for Humanity may take them.

Are those 'flame' bulbs pink, by chance? Are they GE, and coated on the inside, as opposed to being painted? If so, and they work, pull them off and sell them. Those typically bring in around $10-$15 USD a piece:

Thanks very much for the info! I'll probably put then for sale on facebook market place or something so someone local can just come pick them up!

That's so interesting! I would never have realized these old lightbulbs were sort of sought after! Thank you for the information!!

I guess I should follow up and ask, does anyone have an idea of what I should charge someone for either of these chandeliers?

The first one seems a bit misassembled. I believe 20201212_004235.png
    plus it's missing it's crystals.
    Both are mid century pieces.

You mean the glass tray in the middle should be on the bottom? Never would have guessed! I do have the crystals, they've been stored in a bag : )

Thanks for the info! Do you know at all if there's a name for this metal style with the flowers on it?

Well either that tray or the one thats on top. Either way, most of those elements can be rearanged.
I'm not sure if the floral one has a specific name, sorry :/

I would advertise as a wrought iron, 6 arm candelabra, with crystal teardrops and cups...
