This brooch is marked MFA - Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

I've been trying to find one that is comparable to get an idea on price, but I must be using the wrong search terms.

They look like Japanese mask faces to me; am I wrong about what country there are from? Is there a collective name for the masks that maybe I can search under? Or am I completely wrong about them being masks?

Same picture twice, just flipped it a bit to see the different masks.
