Featured Big Blue Foil Backed Glass Ring - Age?

I think this may be one of those foil backed rings that are described here, because the inside of the ring is completely enclosed. The glass is a pretty sky blue color and the metal appears to be stamped. It is 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. The band is adjustable, and actually it fits me perfectly. The style appears to be of an older ring, at least to me. Does anyone have any comments on age or anything else?

I don't think that one-size-fits-all sort of a band is a good sign.

MOS. I never believed that this was more than a less expensive piece for people who wanted a big stone ring and couldn't afford it. Actually, when you think about it, the fact that modern rings are sized and therefore, you have to pay a jeweler money to change it is just like the racket car makers developed to force you to go to the dealer for simple things like an oil change. When the 1962 Sloped Back Volvo I restored was totaled by an uninsured motorist, I bought a new Nissan Sport truck. The first time I went to change the oil, I discovered that not only did I have to buy a specially sized oil filter wrench, they had secreted the filter deep into the recesses of the motor causing me to have to wriggle into the engine compartment to get to it. I don't even bother to crack the hood of my current F250.

 

I love the idea of having a ring with Bohemian glass. Thank you.
