You could have posted it in a new thread......but once it's here.....no worries.

I think someone started the project of making it into a dough bowl and stopped in the middle.

Better that than making rolls in it, especially at this point. Splinters in your food aren't fun.

Had some "fun" today. Mom wanted me to take some books back to the library in the next town over. It's just down the street from an antique/jewelry store. So in the melting slush I drove over there and spent $30. Included in that are a Kramer necklace, a sterling pin, and a Montreal Olympics souvenir. Also a repair project, if I can work up the nerve.

went to a sale yesterday, first time in months for me. It was a beautiful sunny day, tables set up outside, lots of stuff and not many people, everyone was wearing masks and keeping their distance. I found some great Christmas items to add to my collections or gift on. Napco figure/bells in box, box has wear and tear, figures are excellent, mini ornaments for my feather trees, box of ornaments on the way to one of my girls, 2 pipe cleaner Santa, plastic outdoor set of Santa and his reindeer, excellent condition, nice Canadian Electric box with bulbs, Gurley choir figures candles.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

@cxgirl, you might carefully and lightly try an art gum eraser on that stain on the poster, but stay away from any pencil signatures!!! Just a thought! Neat collection!!!:happy:

thanks for letting me know it is a serigraph komokwa, it is a nice piece:)
yes, the lucky posters are pretty neat, nice photos of old time logging. I remember when I was a kid seeing trucks with a load that would be just one or two of the huge trees, these days a load is of 2nd and 3rd growth, so lots of trees to fill it up

I almost haggled the price on this, then realised I really should just grab it. Same carboot as the George Unite cup, but six whole pounds as opposed to five. It's an odd little sale: a bit scruffy but good stuff.

1860, Angell, London hallmarks with a wonderful handmade liner.
