Hi, I'm back, been busy lately....and developing an obsession for large mirrors...I recently bought this one...so pretty...It's is as tall as me(which is not very tall, I am only 1meter and 60cm or 5ft 2 or 3)and not even the tallest I have, but think it's just beautiful. how old do you think this is?(pictures were not taken by me but by the seller, that explains the sharpness ;) ) $_864321.JPG $_86753345.JPG $_86888890.JPG

Gorgeous mirror. Looks like part of a pier set, there might have been a low table it sat on. Your 3rd picture made me laugh.

Unusual for our neck of the woods. I get a colonial feel from it. India or southeast Asia.

Something like this? It is similar, although mine does not have those side pillars.
The text accompanying this picture talks about a Philip louis(should be Louis Philippe ofcourse) mirror from 1860, so it might be french not colonial. But if you can't get your french kings right should that information be trusted? ;)
