I have these pin brooches I purchased with a bunch of other jewelry. They're unmarked, except for 2 which is marked S&C, and the smallest pin, 4, which is marked Simmons. Any idea of the age, value, etc.?

Barn Owl, I've already picked out a "favorite" -- #7 is especially lovely to me.;)

The one on the top and the one on the bottom are fairly recent, I'd guess 1980s. The rest....? I'd say 1900-1920 or thereabouts. That safety pin thing is a lingerie pin; it was meant to keep your bra and slip straps from showing.

Except for #4 and #8, these would be bar pins.

    #2, 3, & 6 are the oldest. Early 1900s.

$3 & 6 are most likely gold plated, or rolled gold.

#1 & 5 are too dark to see.

#6 Looks like a 1960s-70s costume kilt pin

As Evelyb said #4 is a lingerie pin.

    In my store, I'd put the highest value on #3 & 6 - somewhere around $20 -25.
I'm not sure what online pricing would be for Etsy or Ebay.
Maybe someone else here might have a suggestion.

Maybe this was discussed in another thread, #2 looks like something is written on the back.

A few of these do seem to be either silver and others possibly rolled gold.

Somehow you are going to have to either test these or get them tested for metal content. Without marks it will be almost impossible to tell just by a photo.

It does look like a nice group.
