Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

One thing I notice is that all of the Tucker pitchers for which there are pictures online through the Philadelphia Museum of Art's website have rounded body forms, while yours is more square. But of course they probably don't have their whole collection online. I really know nothing about this, so keep investigating!

Found this article that is freely available through Internet Archive, in case you haven't seen it. It's a brief history of Tucker, published in a Museum periodical in 1906.

Thanks! I've actually found a creamer online (about the same size) with a similar body shape (square with a similar foot), but different handle. I'm positive there are not examples of all the Tucker shapes / decorations online - so yeah - not gonna rule it out yet.

Did you ever figure out who made this piece? I have a similar one and am curious. My guess was Tucker since mine has the script W on the bottom. But it is the same shape as this one.

I haven't yet...other than 1 other I found online which had a hand written note in it that stated it was Tucker. I haven't found another. If I ever make it up to Philadelphia I'm going to go through their design books at the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Thank you. I'm about 2 hours from Philly, but the museum is closed for the remainder of the year. There are collections you can search through online through the museum, including some pictures from the pattern book, but I can't find any that have this shape. The one that I have is much smaller, maybe the creamer, but in the same shape as the one in this post.

Very interesting! The squared off shape isn't far off from the shape of our examples...

Yes. The set that I have is the creamer, covered sugar dish, teapot, and a few plates and cups. If i can get a picture, I'll post it here. (Sorry for the double posts, this is the first time I'm posting to the site and it made me make an account.)

Here are some old pictures. The first three pictures (labeled AllPieces and PossibleTucker) are the ones that I have. The two gold trim pieces on the left of the AllPieces are not tucker. They are newer. The last three pictures labeled "OtherLot" was another lot that was sold at the same auction. One piece was paper labeled as tucker. Thank you. Excellent! Your set pretty well matches the forms from the previously linked/attributed set at the Museum, does it not? At least the teapot and sugar are almost exact to my eye. And being that your creamer/ small pitcher is definitely a part of the set, I think knot all bodes well for being a Tucker set, including the creamer/jug.
