Featured Flower Power: age and composition?

    This gives me a 1970's craft project vibe. But, I found it in the
    garden with some very old things so don't know.

    Pictured next to a quarter for size comparison.
    It's slightly domed shaped. I thought the amber inserts were glass
    at first but the bubbly effect on their surfaces from age, perhaps, makes it seem like plastic?
    The metal seems like pewter to me. If it was lead, like in a
    stained glass project, I think it would be heavier?
    I like crude, handcrafted pieces, and it's growing on me.

    WOW! Not to hijack this but I haven't seen the words flower power in quite a while.
