I tried to do that a few minutes ago, but have apparently reached my maximum # of 5 emails.

I've been sending private messages to folks on PGB and they seem to be getting through, mind you I have wondered if they would be stopped at some point. Like tauriel I included the address for this site.

I emailed George with an old email address I had and didn't get a response. I used ebay Contact member for md, orbial, and several others and never heard from them.

I'm wondering if my messages went through.

 

I used the Contact feature and so far everyone has messaged me back. Marie (mforjan) has been busy with the local antique shows and hasn't been online, but she'll be over here soon.

don't understand the recent onslaught of moderators deleting posts and banning members at PGP. Just yesterday there was an inquiring poster wanting info on a begging dog mug. For some reason the OP was insistent on the maker being Duncan Miller. I guess the moderator didn't like the idea of contributors trying to correct the OP since the entire thread got deleted.

 

And the mods/DS etc. provided the fertilizer!

Something is happening on ebay boards. One of them is Missing.
For months there has been 52 boards and now there is only 51. Who is missing??

Animals moved to groups. Actually I just went and counted and there are 51 including the Animals board. No idea.

 

Cook's Nook was also moved to a "group." Unfortunately, the mods didn't leave a bread crumb. I only know that because someone who was looking for it (on the New Community Board) got an answer last night.

 

so where is the new Cooks Nook? The participation there drop to a bare trickle after the last changes; so I'm expecting these changes will finish the kill.

 

I did manage to find the new Cooks Nook location buried in groups

 

eBay removed your message from my inbox!! Thankfully I book marked it on my PC. Tried googling the site on my iPad and can't find it.

Um, update, der, I found it! I think I was blind and panicking.

 

Thanks to the folks who contacted me! I haven't been lurking and (occasionally) posting as much--trying to get DH to do some much needed painting inside the house, so I'm mostly up to my elbows in tsp solution doing prep work. Very glad to be here, though, and to see so many old friends and new ones, too. I feel like I've been cyber-liberated!
