Antique Indian Jardinieres??

Hi all,

I have these two old brass jardinieres that i think could be Indian and maybe late 19th C.

Would like your opinion on these...

Also, what would be a good solution to remove green tarnish from brassware?

 

These are beautiful. The engraving on the first one is exceptional. Again, country and date right, and good research, you don't need us.

The verdigris (green tarnish) is not so bad in this case. Try putting some oil on it and leaving it for a couple of hours. Then clean with soapy water, dry well, and it is probably gone. Soapy water will also work on the polish residue.
