So, I found these die cast Chrome bezels (for lack of a better term) in a box of mixed older automotive parts that I purchased at an estate sale. The guy was a mechanic and had his shop in a barn on the premises.

I’ve come up empty. Not sure if they’re Automotive, motorcycle, marine, equestrian, or none of the above. Almost looks like a strap would run through them like belt loops.

Hole on bottom looks like a stud/post would fit through It has a “shoulder” inside, as well.

2 Female threaded mounting Holes on back

Signed “Super Cast” very small on backs. The company made a fairly wide variety of products. From car parts in the 1940s to still banks and toys.

    chrome over zinc
    2.75” / 7 cm tall
    2.5” / 6.35 cm wide
Looks like a “B” On the centers

Anyone have any ideas? TY, all!

Thx, komo. I have 7 of them. I was thinking someone could repurpose as finger pulls.

with 2 holes in the base , they likely fit onto pegs...and then got screwed into place.....but they don't seem to be made for rough and tumble.....not with just one screw holding them down...

    Tagging @Fid and @anundverkaufen

If you fine people haven't seen this thread, can you please take a look? I've recently been told that what I thought was a "B" in the centers could be a German ligature for "SS"

Seems odd to have a company or brand with a ligature for a mark, but WDIK?

Anyhow, the guy whose estate this is from did work on German vehicles and other forms of transportation.

    Thanks!
