Van gogh painting?

Hi friends, I have this painting for a long time, really it's in a bad condition, All i know that van Gogh produced more than 2,500 oil paintings, This one could be painted by him.

Where are you finding this stuff? Much of it looks like reproductions of original paintings. Thrift stores?

 

I don't know if it's a reproductions of original painting or original by others, All i can say that i found it in my grandfather's house with other paintings

 

It is difficult to tell how old it is from one photograph. Can you post a photo of the entire back, including the stretcher and, a close-up of the canvas on the back so we can see the texture.

 

The stretcher and the canvas are twentieth century.

 

Compare it to known Van Gogh works... and I think you'll see pretty quickly it's not Van Gogh. Sunflowers, yes. Impasto, sort of. Van Gogh - nope.

 

yes, you should take it to a museum......you may be rich...

 

the back of the canvas is still white hence may not be that old...

I like it somehow, seems a bit dark, and paint falling off, but still! Amateur artist or not, it's interesting.
