1st time furniture identification help needed

    Hi I bought some furniture for a spare bedroom and I wondered at its age. A vanity dresser and matching chest of drawers. It is machine made.

    Stamp on underside of drawer is really faint a circle with a capital T in the middle (that is all I can reliably see) and a diamond with what I am pretty sure has "AM " written in it and "made in japan" underneath.

    Would really appreciate some help first time I am stumped on an internet search!
