Hi again, this spoon came from a scrap lot, is a John Aldwinckle & James Slater spoon London 1881.
I want to know if my research are correct. I'm trying to found same pattern, do someone know the name of it? 20171103_163659-747x1328.jpg 20171103_163741-747x1328.jpg 20171103_163725-747x1328.jpg 20171103_163815-747x1328.jpg 20171103_164704-747x1328.jpg 20171103_164808-747x1328.jpg
    Thanks

    Confirming your findings re. hallmarks.
As to pattern, it may have been a limited production of a novelty or commemorative spoon.
Wait for Baker's Grandma to stop by, she will know more.

Also confirming the marks, with one additional bit. The gentlemen are as stated, but the firm was called Holland, Son & Slater, according to this site. http://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Makers/London-JA-JB.html#JA

Definitely not a "named pattern" as you would see in tableware. I believe (but could be wrong on the terminology) that this was an "anointing spoon."

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I wonder why anybody would scrap something like this?
