Only one woman that used to work up front knows what I really like, she works out back now.

I got handed a ziplock of jewelry in the ReStore today. A lot of it was junk, but there was a sterling silver keychain at the bottom that has to way close to a full ounce. Not bad for a buck. :)

This lot arrived in the mail today, these should keep me busy for a while. Some of the movements look like they may well just tick and others have parts I need to repair other watches.

I remember buying some jewellery from a man for a euro apiece. They had just emptied grannies house.Pair of victorian lava cameo earrings and other nice goodies. An hour later I passed the stall and his wife was rifling through the box and shouting at him. I realised what was happening and made a quick getaway in case he pointed to me and said "I sold the jewellery to her"

I’ve been at it for the last couple of months, here are some of my better or favorites for finds: 9F2E198D-4DA5-4DC1-BAA8-ED7BF5F4F3B9.jpeg 01127D11-F70C-46A8-BE3C-859E9E3A39E8.jpeg DA5BB433-628D-4A27-BD35-EC144D6E25CC.jpeg CD250A93-CD63-4C6B-BE23-0B8BACC1E533.jpeg

Some of them need or needed repair and I’ve been actively working on fixing them. It’s been interesting, informative and fun. I thank everyone who keeps building on the collective knowledge and taking the time to instruct and inspire all of us.

    What an amazing haul!.
I love the coral. What is the translucent white ring in the top photo under the biggest coral brooch?.
Is the fabric scarves?. When I scrolled down for a moment I thought the one on the right was a large sequinned pair of knickers!!:couchpotato::hilarious:
Where do you find all your treasures?

Thanks for the laugh! It would not shock Mr. BMRT if I pulled home with sequin knickers!

I find mine online, in estate sales, private sellers on a few social media platforms and thrifts. The black fabric with velvet burnouts is a shawl, the middle is a tiny purse and the last sequined party is an over shirt. I loved the giant butterfly.

The ring is marked gold and the little diamonds test positive, I believe the top is either glass or quartz. I’ll post separately in jewelry for a closer look.

I was eyeing the sterling and moonstone necklace - 1920s or so? The butterfly would have been a serious party shirt in the 1980s or maybe late 70s. I can see that in Studio 54. The ring with the quartz or glass top ... be all over that for marks. It might be Lalique if it's glass and other than the siggie on the glass their gold marks can be a royal pain.

Is that stainless one with the odd engraving military? Patt 3169 and that odd drawing?
