And a can of black touch-up paint?

BTW - one of the things that popped up this weekend was a gold-plated charm from the Ontario Motor Speedway out in California. If the wiki was right they had flat track and drag strip in addition to the usual oval.

    That will be fine. :)

    Yes!
I have been to that track, now gone, for the drags! Went to the first yearly one, the Supernationals, and a few other years, maybe 3 in all.
I’d post my jacket and those particular patches but I’m on my phone. :p

I think it's under condos now, like the rest of Southern Cali.

Here are the Ontario track patch, '70 SUPERNATIONALS and '76 WORLD FINALS.
My oldest son was 9 months old for the '76 race, his first. :)

    Thanks! :)
Nothing is on it that I haven't been to or used.
Here's the whole thing minus those close ups...but it's incomplete.
I've a few now to catch it up already! Something will spark (pun intended) and I'll realize something is missing. :)

There is a gap on the upper back because there wasn't a patch made for the 2011 Winternationals in Pomona California. :p I was there and there's NO way I didn't buy a patch or two. Something must have gone wrong and they didn't get done. I've been searching for a year for one.
I am contemplating having one made in the style of the races later that year.

My 2016 NW Nationals one is missing at this time... I may have to search one out. :p

The old photo is of me behind the car in my first jacket about 1969. :)

BWAHAHA, I owned ONE Ford, a 1973 Ford Torino my father insisted I buy used. Thing never ran when it rained, so dad had to rescue me every time it rained. Every car since has been a Chevy (although my used 1981 Camaro Berlinetta was a lemon, too.) I only buy new- had two new cars since 1986, my 86 Chevy Celebrity and my current 1998 Chevy Lumina (but I plan on buying new again in 2018.)

    Yay!!!
    Chevy baby! Nothing else!
Mine have NEVER let me down!
    :)
Never had a Geo but there’s one cruising around here that looks straight out of a showroom!
There’s also a beautiful black with gold Cosworth Vega too.

I just got ceramic coated headers and a starter heat shield for my ‘69 step side Area 51 Security truck. :)

The most rare patch is the Stardust Raceway, the globe patch, left pocket. That track was in Vegas.
I’ve only ever seen 1 other. Went on eBay for $75. I thought that a bargain.
    How about this?

My son's first car was an '81 Berlinetta - yep, one big lemon!

I still see them. What was wrong with it/them?

The worst was when it snowed (happens in WI a lot - lol) - snow/ice would mess up the tranny & it often would only go in reverse. Many times thought it was really a Found On Road Dead (FORD)! He fried 2 engines and a fuel pump before we quit fixing the durn thing. Practically gave it away to a 'friend' - it was a lovely lawn ornament at her house. :)

    Wow!!!
So it jammed up the shifter mechanism it seems...
I would’ve directed some exhaust heat to it and moved that away in summer. :)

A 16 year old & his first 'hot rod' - I didn't worry much in the winter 'cause it seldom was drivable. Seems my husband was constantly thawing it out so our son could limp it home from school/work. Beautiful piece of junk it was!
