Miniature Pink Glass Ewer

    I got his little Ewer at the Flea Market for $2. I just really liked it. It is Blown Glass in a translucent Pink with an applied clear Handle. It is about 3.5 " tall. Does anybody know anything about this? Thank you in advance. The bottom is smooth (no pontil). Possibly pollished smooth.

    This is very light and thin walled, correct?
    I think it is most closely related to Bimini glass. A type of blown glass that employs lampworking techniques as opposed to traditional blowing at the glory hole.

    That item is probably an Oil Cruet, minus a Stopper. It's an Art Glass item and with an applied handle. Very nice looking.

    Thank You Skeezix. Yes it is very thin walled. I will do some looking for Bimini glass

    Thank you Fenton. It could be, but because of it's small size it makes me wonder why someone would do a cruet that size.
