Is This A Lapel Pin?

    Hi all,
    would this tiny piece be a lapel pin? Fits into a button hole? Not sure how secure it would be in a button hole, maybe missing a piece?
    any information appreciated

    I sold a WW1 US ribbon/medal rosette that had a similar configuration.

    Maybe this was in a ribbon or some other type of give away piece commemorating the '39 Royal Visit?
