Is there a way to search Canadian patents by number?

From what I've seen, I think the serial number is given as a temporary means of ID until the patent has been granted. Then it gets issued the official patent number.

The only Company I could think of that may have made this table would have been Hourd & Company. They were a furniture manufacturer in London, Ontario in the early to mid 1900's. They manufactured folding tables and chairs and crokinole boards. I know they made the game because I looked it up once and found out they also made game tables. Maybe someone could find an old catalog? I couldn't find one when I just looked. Someone probably knows way more about it than me.
