    Hi Antiquers!
    I need your help identifying a maker's mark on a sterling silver Foxy Cat brooch.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks like a Japanese fox and very amateur finishing on the piece with saw burrs left rough.

    I agree. The backside is a bit ruff. Could it be a studio jewelry brooch?
    The eyebrow shape is rather dramatic.

    I agree, the back is a bit rough, but the design is very dramatic. Certainly reminds me of a kitsune.

    The brooch does resemble a Kitsune mask. Do you have any idea of the maker's name? It reminds me of a Japanese character or ideogram. Thanks for the Great Pics!
